Answers, in plain language.
What is ABA therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis is a therapy that teaches skills in small steps and uses positive reinforcement to build them. It is used to support communication, daily living, play, and social skills, and to reduce behaviors that get in a child's way.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans including Medicaid and take the time to verify your benefits before services begin. Our team will explain what your plan covers, any potential out-of-pocket costs, and answer any questions you may have, so you can make an informed decision with confidence before committing to therapy.
What ages do you work with?
We work with children from around age two through school age. Programs look different at every age — early learners spend more time on communication and play, older children on independence and social skills.
How many hours a week will my child need?
It depends on the assessment. Some children do a few focused hours each week; others benefit from a fuller schedule. Your BCBA recommends a range and explains the reasoning.
Do we need a diagnosis first?
An autism diagnosis from a qualified provider is usually required for insurance to cover ABA. If your child does not have one yet, call us and we will point you toward the right next step.
What does a session actually look like?
A therapist and your child working together at a table, on the floor, or out in the community — practising targeted skills, taking breaks, and recording what worked.
